He has served as a consultant to senior executives of various organizations on SMEs development including US-Africa-Business Center, US Congress, and numerous federal government agencies.

Most recently, John-Ubong was Vice President of Partnerships at LDI Africa, a social enterprise that supports African corporations, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations efforts to enter the global marketplace.
